JORDAN 4 BLACK

JORDAN 4 BLACK

JORDAN 4 BLACK IS A SYSTEMATIC EXPLORATION OF MATERIAL CONTRAST AND AESTHETIC MODIFICATION APPLIED TO A STANDARDIZED EARTH FOOTWEAR UNIT CLASSIFIED AS "JORDAN 4." THE PROJECT INTRODUCED DESIGN VARIABLES SUCH AS OVERLAPPING LACING CONFIGURATIONS AND TEXTURAL DIVERGENCE TO EXAMINE THEIR IMPACT ON THE UNIT’S FUNCTIONAL AND VISUAL INTEGRITY.

THE STUDY FOCUSED ON THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN DISORDERED ELEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH "GRUNGE" STYLISTIC CUES AND THE FOOTWEAR'S ORIGINAL, ENGINEERED STRUCTURE. THIS ANALYSIS PROVIDES DATA ON THE HUMAN PROPENSITY TO INTEGRATE CHAOTIC AESTHETICS INTO PRECISELY DESIGNED OBJECTS, OFFERING INSIGHT INTO THE CULTURAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL DIMENSIONS OF DESIGN MODIFICATION.
